Battle of Fieldstone

Occurred October 25th, 1544. Prince Sergei III's forces were attacked at dawn by troops from Troyzantium, in the second major battle of the Spice Wars. The Troyzantium army had marched under cover of darkness and cut off Prince Sergei from the main body of his troops. Unfortunately, their forced march had left them exhausted and disorganized, and Prince Sergei was able to fight his way back to his own forces with only minimal loss of life. This battle was later known as "The First Great Miscalculation."
